The base is fine, but it's better to treat the surface before sticking it on; there is a special oil for this, as when peeling off the pad, fibers can come off the base surface. I installed YINHE BIG DIPPER 38 on both sides, and it worked perfectly for me. The combination of a fast base and slow pads turned out to be very successful for me.
